WELCOME

As many of you may know, River Oaks Hospital has closed their doors. However, I want you to know that I am still here for you. I care deeply about each and every one of you and that will never change.

We can meet at different locations including my home in Deer Park. We can also start using the online support group at Obesityhelp.com. The link is on the upper left of this page. Just go in and register if you have not already done so and then come back here and click on the link to the support group.

It has a live chat feature I will be online at 7 p.m. nightly until further notice. You can also email me on the link above. Just add me as a contact my email address is weightlosshouston@yahoo.com. If you have the messenger from yahoo add me on the messenger as well.

As you can understand losing your job is a blow, but I am truly one of the lucky ones. I have a loving husband and all of my friends from group that I love dearly.

Please pray for those that are single parents or struggling financially that they will get strength from God to take care of their families and find another job soon.  I am not upset at River Oaks Hospital they did what they had to do financially and they fought the good fight up to the last minute to overcomes overwhelming odds.

I believe God closes one door but throws open a window. Nothing is an accident.  Working with the program at River Oaks has brought me close to many of you that I count as very dear friends. Many of you have already called me to see if I am ok.  Please do not worry about me , but keep me in prayer as I do each of you.

I have posted my home number and I have free long distance so if you are calling long distance just tell me your number and I will call you right back. 

We will be ok , we will work this out to meet in several locations like Starbucks etc. We have each other and we always will.
